The Launch
PhotoSensitive together with Canadian Cancer Society, held a series of photographic exhibitions across Canada from 2008-2010, documenting the effects of the disease. Today, the Cancer Connections book has finally arrive with its official launch on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 to be held at First Canadian Place in Toronto.
The Journey
After months of preparation, the book is finally here. I am glad that I was a part of this journey as it's not only an inspiration but a tribute to the human spirit.
March 11, 2011 is the deadline for those FaceBookers out there who have their own "tabs" set-up using static FBML. After Friday, comes iFrame.
I know it sounds dreadful, especially for us designers, but hey, for those who already have "custom tabs" you just need to convert them to "custom apps". However, for newbies, it's not the end of the world. Luckily, there are some pretty cool tutorials out there that are helpful.

Recently designed the 2011 OAA Conference for Ontario Association of Architects.
It will be used in both print and online media this coming May.
The theme for this year's logo is Urbanization and Globalization. The idea behind the design are "hotspots" located in different parts of the globe. The colours signifies the intensity of the need for globalization. The 2011 OAA conference will be held May 18 -21, 2011, Metro Toronto Convention Centre+Intercontinental Toronto Centre.

The Philippines has gone through several revolutions, however my earliest memory of the modern revolution was 1986. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this weekend, protests happening in the Middle East hopefully would turn out peaceful and people learn to strive for true freedom.
